These Terms and Conditions define the general contractual framework for Business Language Institute services, including private language courses, corporate training, hospitality training, executive coaching, communication labs, placement tests, certificates, badges and Certified Partner programs.
This page is a professional template and contains placeholders. Before publication, replace all bracketed fields and have the final version reviewed for the applicable business location, customer type, payment setup and legal jurisdiction.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Business Language Institute unless a separate written agreement provides otherwise.
Individual 1-on-1 language coaching, placement, private course planning, exam preparation and communication labs.

“BLI”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to Business Language Institute and the legal entity or provider named in these Terms. “Client” refers to the individual, company, organization, hotel, restaurant, wellness business or other customer booking or using BLI services. “Learner” refers to any person participating in a training session, course, placement test, coaching program, communication lab or assessment.
“Services” include language training, business communication training, hospitality training, executive coaching, placement tests, learning plans, course consultations, certificates, badges, certification programs, framework agreements, learning materials and related advisory or support services.
A contract is formed when BLI accepts a booking, confirms an offer, sends a written order confirmation, begins providing the service at the Client’s request, or when the Client accepts a proposal, invoice, quote or framework agreement.
Information on this website does not constitute a binding offer unless expressly stated. Course descriptions, certification descriptions, program outlines and pricing indications are subject to availability, final confirmation and individual agreement.
BLI describes training services, courses, modules, certification programs and badges as accurately as possible. However, exact content, course structure, trainer assignment, schedule and learning path may be adapted to learner level, availability, training goals, group composition and operational requirements.
BLI may update course names, module descriptions, training formats, certification criteria and service structures where this is reasonable and does not materially reduce the agreed service scope.
The exact price, payment deadline and service scope are defined in the individual offer, invoice, order confirmation or framework agreement.

BLI may replace a trainer where necessary due to illness, scheduling conflict, availability, quality reasons or operational requirements.
Placement tests, level checks and learning plans are designed to support course planning. They do not replace official language exam results, school certificates, university certificates or public authority assessments unless expressly stated.
Placement recommendations are based on available information and may be adjusted after training begins if the learner’s actual level, pace or needs differ from the initial assessment.
Cancellation and rescheduling rules should be clear before booking. Replace the placeholders with the final policy.

Clients and Learners are expected to provide accurate information, attend sessions on time, prepare as reasonably requested, communicate scheduling issues promptly and use training materials only within the permitted scope.
Corporate clients may book training for employees, departments or teams. A framework agreement may define the number of learners, training budget, eligible employees, reporting scope, invoicing structure, course access, cancellation rules and certificate handling.
Where employees participate in training under a company agreement, the company is responsible for ensuring that employee participation, internal communication and data sharing are handled in accordance with applicable employment, privacy and internal company rules.
Hospitality training may include hotel, restaurant, bar, wellness, spa, tourism, customer service and guest communication modules. Training examples, role plays and scenarios are designed for learning purposes and must be adapted by the Client to its actual operational rules, safety policies and service standards.
BLI may issue certificates, badges, workforce development seals and verification IDs within the agreed scope.
These confirm participation in a defined course, module, session package or training program.
These may confirm completion of defined modules, tasks, assessments or course requirements.
These may confirm organization-level training participation, development activity or certification scope.
Clients may use BLI badges, certificates, partner seals and verification references only within the scope granted by BLI and only while the status is valid. The Client may not alter, distort, misrepresent or use expired badges or certificates.
If a badge or certificate includes a validity date, verification ID, certified level, language scope, department scope or training scope, the Client must present it accurately and must not imply a broader certification than granted.
BLI may provide public verification pages for organizations, certificates, badges or partner seals. Verification pages may display organization name, certificate ID, certified scope, modules, issue date, valid-until date and active status.
Individual employee names should be published only where appropriate permission and a valid legal basis exist. BLI may remove or update public verification pages if the certification expires, is revoked, is misused or is no longer accurate.
BLI may suspend or revoke certification status, badge use or verification listing if the Client fails to meet certification criteria, provides inaccurate information, misuses the badge, fails to complete agreed requirements, does not renew the certification, or uses misleading public wording.
BLI materials and concepts are provided for learning and internal training use only unless another usage right is granted in writing.
| Material Type | Permitted Use | Restricted Use |

| Training concepts | Use during BLI training and internal learning activities | Copying or adapting for competing training services without permission |
| Certificates and badges | Use within the granted scope, validity period and brand guidelines | Modification, misleading use, use after expiry or unauthorized transfer |
| Recordings | Only if explicitly agreed by BLI, trainer and participants | Unauthorized recording, sharing or publication |
| AI-enhanced practice prompts | Use for personal or agreed training practice | Commercial reuse, resale or publication as own training product |
BLI provides professional training, coaching and support. However, language learning progress depends on many factors, including attendance, practice, prior knowledge, learner motivation, training duration, learning environment and regular use of the language outside sessions.
BLI does not guarantee a specific exam result, certification outcome, job outcome, visa outcome, promotion, revenue increase, customer review improvement or exact language level unless expressly agreed in writing.
BLI may provide training for exam preparation, visa-related language goals, relocation German, workplace communication and daily-life language. Such training is educational support only and does not constitute legal, immigration or official authority advice.
Clients and Learners are responsible for verifying current requirements with the relevant exam provider, authority, employer, institution or professional advisor.
BLI may use AI-enhanced practice, prompts, role-play tasks, writing support or learning routines as part of training. Such tools support learning and do not replace human coaching, official assessment or legal advice.
Learners should avoid entering confidential, sensitive or third-party personal data into external AI tools unless explicitly instructed and legally appropriate safeguards are in place.
The final liability wording must be adapted to the applicable law and business model.
BLI aims to provide reliable services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted website, platform, email, video meeting or third-party tool availability.
Clients and Learners are responsible for their own internet connection, device, software access, microphone and learning environment.
BLI’s liability may be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and the individual agreement.
BLI treats confidential business information, learner information and internal training details with appropriate care. Clients and Learners must also keep confidential information received during training, coaching or corporate programs confidential unless disclosure is authorized.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the BLI Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how personal data may be collected, used, stored, shared and protected in connection with website use, inquiries, course bookings, training delivery, certificates and public verification pages.
Where a corporate client provides employee data, the parties may need to agree appropriate data protection terms depending on the role of each party and applicable privacy law.
BLI is not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as illness, technical failures, platform outages, network disruptions, natural events, labor disputes, government measures or other unforeseeable circumstances.
BLI may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to a specific booking is generally the version in force at the time of contract formation, unless a later version is agreed or legally required.
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, unenforceable or incomplete, the remaining provisions remain unaffected. The invalid or unenforceable provision should be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to the intended economic and legal purpose.
These Terms are governed by the law of [insert governing law]. Place of jurisdiction is [insert place of jurisdiction], unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
